Eco design is a complex specialism which aims to optimise the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle.

Having co-authored and published the acclaimed specialist text book “Eco-Suss”, our design teams have internationally recognised expertise in this commercially important design specialism and are widely regarded as leaders in this field.

Wherever possible, we preferentially employ “cradle to cradle” design methodology in our volume consumer product designs.

This important Eco-Goal enables products to be manufactured, used, easily dis-assembled, recycled and then re-manufactured using the original materials.

These “cradle to cradle” designs deliver maximum sustainability value, particularly in high volume markets because there is no need for any new materials to be extracted or processed in this “perfect cycle”.

These detailed Eco-design considerations often surface unexpected commercial advantages for our client organisations and ensure they meet key sustainability targets for each new commercial product they launch.
