Concept Design

Concept design takes the loosely structured outputs from group ideation sessions and
develops them into early stage visual references (concept sketches).

These early stage visuals enable innovators to see key elements of product form and functionality and to make an initial assessment of concept feasibility.

Usually several concept designs are tabled for review and most will be eliminated in this preliminary development orientation.

Feasible concepts are progressed through a concept development process to produce more detailed images that explain keynote design features and provide foundation references for further detailed design iterations.
